# AiYO Design System > The AiYO Design System is called "Minimalist Modern": structure gives clarity, bold details give character. It is built with React 19, Vite, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, shadcn/ui conventions (cva, `cn`, radix-ui, lucide-react) and `motion`. It has one brand accent, the Electric Blue gradient #0052FF → #3366FF, named `primary` in code (`accent` is only a hover surface). It uses Calistoga for display headlines, Inter for UI and body text, and JetBrains Mono for labels. Components are copied into projects shadcn style, from `@/components/ui/*`. DESIGN.md gives direction; the vendored antislop skills are the filter on top of it. Dials: ENERGY 2 / RHYTHM 2 / MOTION 2. Key rules for agents: - For UI work: read DESIGN.md for direction, then the antislop core skill as the filter plus the skill for the task, and run its Delivery Gate before delivering. - Use tokens (`bg-background`, `text-foreground`, `text-muted-foreground`, `border-border`, `bg-card`, `bg-gradient-primary`), never raw hex. - Use one accent color only. Never use `bg-accent` for brand. - Calistoga is for H1/H2 only. Every section opens with SectionLabel → H2 → muted lede. SectionLabel is a plain JetBrains Mono label (12px, uppercase, 0.15em tracking, primary color): no pill, no border, no dot, no `pulse` prop. - Container `max-w-6xl`, sections `py-24 md:py-32`, asymmetric grids. Landing pages need at least one inverted section: solid deep slate, no dot-grid texture, no blurred glows. - Controls `rounded-xl`, cards `rounded-2xl`. Inputs h-12, buttons h-11 and up, touch targets at least 44px. Shadows mark elevation only (cards md, overlays xl, accent on the primary CTA). - Motion uses ease [0.16,1,0.3,1]: 0.7s fade-up entrances (once), 200 to 300ms hover and press feedback, overlay pop-in and accordion. No endless decorative motion (no floating cards, rotating rings or pulsing dots). Respects prefers-reduced-motion. - `data-arrow` only on the one primary CTA per screen. Backdrop blur only on the sticky navbar. - Numbers, testimonials, logos and pricing tiers use real data only; otherwise leave the section out. The showcase's sample content is a labelled exception. - App pages (mandatory): titles use `PageHeader` (Inter, not Calistoga). Settings pages with 3+ sub-sections use vertical `Tabs`, one Card per tab. - Every list page: PageHeader with "Add " → search and filters → Table (row actions in a DropdownMenu, loading / error / empty states) → `Pagination`, always shown, pageSize 10, reset to page 1 on search/filter/size change, server-side for API data. - Add/edit in a Dialog only for ≤6 fields in one section with no uploads; otherwise a dedicated page (PageHeader `back` → FormSection → FormActions). Delete always confirms in a Dialog with a destructive button. The showcase's App Patterns section (`#app-patterns`) demos all of this. ## Docs - [DESIGN.md](./DESIGN.md): the canonical spec. Tokens, typography, layout, surfaces, every component with its import path and props, blocks, motion, responsive rules, accessibility, do/don't, landing and dashboard page recipes, the mandatory app page rules (settings, list and form pages), and the anti-slop decision log (§14). - [AGENTS.md](./AGENTS.md): short instructions for AI coding agents. How to install, the hard rules, the antislop routing, and a snippet to paste into a project's CLAUDE.md or AGENTS.md. ## Anti-slop skills - [antislop](https://github.com/AiYOID/aiyo-design-system/tree/main/skills/antislop): the core filter (purpose test, liveliness dials, Delivery Gate). Vendored from https://github.com/miqdadbadjuber/anti-slop, release 3.2.21, MIT. - [antislop-ui](https://github.com/AiYOID/aiyo-design-system/tree/main/skills/antislop-ui): the UI and visual skill (color, layout, components, decoration, motion). ## Tokens - [aiyo.tokens.json](./aiyo.tokens.json): W3C Design Tokens (DTCG) for color (light and inverted), typography, radius, shadow and motion. ## Optional - [llms-full.txt](./llms-full.txt): DESIGN.md and AGENTS.md concatenated into one file, for loading the full context at once.
